I Quit!

I grew up always wanting to be a teacher. That was the academic and professional path that I chose. After 4 years and a Master's degree, I spent the entire summer before my 5th year dreading the return to school. It was a struggle! I pulled out my contract and read the part about quitting. I waited until the last possible moment and then went to the school and told my principal. It was so scary and so freeing at the same time. The next eight months were really bad financially, but I never regretted it!
