It Ain't That Deep!

Yesterday I was told by a young woman in my life, that among other things, l have set an example for not worrying about the little things. I don’t get rattled by much. When something goes awry in my life, I ask myself: 1.Is there anything I can do about it? 2.Am I willing and/or able to do something about it? 3.How will this “thing” effect my life in, let’s say, a year or five years from now? When you think about it, there are WAY bigger situations to tackle. Things that will really
matter to your life’s outcomes. Things that can set you on an unintended trajectory. So, those things that can be fixed tomorrow, save for tomorrow. Unless you are finding a
cure for AIDS or cancer, it probably isn’t that deep! And certainly your child won’t suffer serious trauma if her dad puts her in corduroy in July.
