CHANGE AGENT!

I once had a highly visible assignment at work. The exceptionally large nonprofit that I worked for was initiating a huge revision of the workplace. I was given the role of Change Agent. CHANGE AGENT.

At the time, some of my co-workers, especially those above me in responsibility and title, could not believe that a “paean like me, got a job like that!” What they did not know and what I have come to fully embrace, is that I was perfect for that position. I am a relationship builder. I am a convener. I care about people. I want what is best for everyone. And I do it all by making people feel seen and heard.

That assignment lasted for 18 months. But I have not shed the title yet! I am a CHANGE AGENT! What can I help you change?
